Overview/ Summary
Harry and Snowman is a nonfictional movie about a man named Harry de Leyer and his adventures with Snowman, exploring the horse showing world. Harry was a dutch horseman, who was traveling to America during World War Two. Harry trained horses and Knox school, and was trying to expand his name in the showing industry with his kids and clients. He traveled to Pennsylvania, to go to an auction to buy a cheap horse. He saw Snowman on a butcher truck, which was going to a glue factory, and offered 80 dollars, and took Snowman home with him. Snowman was given to a family friend six miles down the road, but de Leyer would always find Snowman standing outside his stable. de Leyer advised Snowman's owner to make the fence higher, but snowman still was able to jump it. Eventually, de Leyer took Snowman back and trained him to jump. The two showed and eventually became national champions.
